Skilproof home

The hiring platform where everything is verified.

Resumes and degrees are self-reported claims, not proof of what someone can actually do. Skilproof is built to change that.

Skilproof is in development. This is how verification will work when it launches.

The problem

Here’s what hiring looks like today.

  • Ghost jobs

Postings with no real intent to hire.

  • Mass applications

The same resume sent to dozens of postings, hoping something sticks.

  • Automated bulk applying

AI tools submitting applications to new postings within minutes of going live.

  • AI application overload

A flood of resumes written by AI, met with automatic rejections from AI screeners.

11,000

job applications a minute on LinkedIn in mid-2025, up 45% from a year earlier.

The solution

Skilproof will verify real skill directly, instead of trusting a resume, a degree, or a single test. The proof comes from a chain of different kinds of evidence that all have to tell the same story about the same person.

  • An adaptive conversation

A live interview that adapts as you answer.

  • An observed work process

A real task done inside Skilproof’s own tool, so the process is visible, not only the result.

  • Repeated real outcomes

Independent tasks that all have to come out right, not one lucky result.

Skilproof is a hiring platform built on demonstrated skill, connecting motivated, skilled candidates with companies looking for real ability and follow-through.

The benefits

Here’s what makes Skilproof different.

  • The whole profile is verified.

Most platforms treat verification as a badge next to a claim people wrote about themselves. On Skilproof, every qualification on a profile will have to be proven.

  • It tests the job itself.

Not a badge for knowing how to use an app. Skilproof will test whether someone can do the work: run a sales call, resolve a customer problem, ship working code.

  • The proof belongs to you.

You verify a skill once, before applying to any job, and it stays on your profile. No repeating a test for every employer.

  • Not gated by a degree.

You won’t need a degree or a job history to earn a skill rating. It works the same whether you have one or not.

The features

Every skill will move through five stages, each one unlocking the next.

  1. Trust Badges

A quick intro and preferences. Nothing scored, nothing to fail.

  2. The Gate

A short, randomized knowledge check for the skill.

  3. Bronze

A live, adaptive interview, about 10 to 15 minutes.

  4. Silver

A real task, completed inside Skilproof’s own tool.

  5. Gold

Three independent tasks, done at your own pace with no deadline.

Each stage adds another layer of evidence, and together they have to tell one consistent story about what someone can actually do.

Ratings are earned per skill, so someone could hold Gold in one skill and Bronze in another.

The bottom line

Resumes, profiles, and degrees are self-reported and only loosely tied to real ability. Employers can’t tell who can actually do the work, and capable people without the right credentials get filtered out before anyone sees what they can do.

Tests alone don’t fix it. Any assessment with one correct answer becomes worthless the moment that answer exists somewhere in writing. It stops measuring skill and starts measuring who has AI open in another tab.

Skilproof’s answer is verification built from different kinds of evidence: an adaptive conversation, an observed work process, and repeated real outcomes that all have to tell the same story about the same person.
