This policy explains what information Skilproof LLC (“Skilproof,” “we,” “us”) collects through skilproof.com and our waitlist, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our website and waitlist. When the Skilproof platform launches, we’ll publish an updated policy that covers it.

Information we collect
Information you give us
- Your email address.
- Whether you’re looking for work or hiring.
- Anything else you choose to send us, such as replies to our emails, survey answers, or feedback.
Information collected automatically
- How you found us. When you join the waitlist, we record the website or tagged link that brought you to our site (for example, a link in our TikTok or Instagram profile), if your browser provides it.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and the time of your visit. We use it to run and secure the site.
Our website doesn’t use advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use your information
- To manage the waitlist and send you your invite when your spot opens.
- To send you updates about Skilproof, such as launch news, surveys, and requests for feedback. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand who’s interested, such as how many people are hiring versus looking for work, and which links bring people to our site.
- To reply when you contact us.
- To keep the site secure, prevent spam and abuse, and comply with the law.
How we share your information
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with other companies for their own marketing. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us run the website and waitlist, such as website hosting, form processing, and email delivery providers. They may use it only to provide those services to us. Our website is hosted by Netlify, which also processes waitlist signups. You can read Netlify’s privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy.
- When required by law, or when we believe in good faith that it’s necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud.
- As part of a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. If that happens, we’ll let you know before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Tracking and “Do Not Track”
We don’t track you across other websites, and we don’t allow other companies to collect personal information about your online activity over time or across different websites through our site. Because we don’t do this kind of tracking, our site doesn’t respond differently to “Do Not Track” signals from your browser.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe. Every marketing email from us includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to unsubscribe. We’ll honor your request within 10 business days.
- See, correct, or delete your information. Email cartergolda@skilproof.com to ask what information we have about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We’ll respond within 30 days.
How long we keep information
We keep waitlist information until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or we no longer need it to run the waitlist and launch Skilproof. If you unsubscribe, we may keep your email address on a do-not-email list so we don’t contact you again.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, such as limiting who can access it. No website or online service is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee the security of your information.
Children
Skilproof isn’t directed to children under 13, and you must be at least 16 to join the waitlist. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we’ll delete it. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us.
Visitors outside the United States
Skilproof is based in the United States. Your information is processed and stored in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page and change the effective date. If we make a material change to how we use your personal information, we’ll notify you by email or with a notice on our website before the change takes effect.
